The Western Pacific Railroad Museum opens for the season on Thursday, May 1st with hours of 12 to 4 pm on Thursdays and Fridays, and 10 am to 5 pm, Saturdays and Sundays. It’s your chance to tour vintage passenger cars, and see what rail travel was like before the days of Amtrak. Sit in the Conductors seat in one of their many restored cabooses. Marvel at the variety of freight cars and locomotives. And take plenty of pictures to remember your families experience at the West's premier Rail Museum! For more information about admission prices, train rides and the Run-A-Locomotive program call 530-832-4131 or visit www.wplives.org.
