People taking care of other people. This is the essence of patient experience and the “why” behind what they do at Eastern Plumas Health Care. From the moment you start your health care journey, patient experience encompasses the range of interactions that you have with healthcare, including your care from health plans, doctors, nurses, and staff in hospitals, physician practices, and other healthcare facilities.
Patient experience is both when you seek and receive care, such as getting timely appointments, easy access to information, and good communication with health care providers. It’s the sum of all actions, which is why your experience matters to EPHC.
Whether it’s scrolling down the front page of the EPHC website, to the Patient Experience Page, calling the Patient Experience Manager directly, or filling out a
survey, you have multiple ways to reach Eastern Plumas Health Care’s Patient Experience Department.
Although appreciated, EPHC is not just fishing for compliments. They sincerely want to know about your experience and have provided a dedicated place for you to submit your individual comments and concerns. Rest assured, your responses are kept confidential. But you can choose to identify yourself and even request a follow-up.
Medical clinic surveys are available at the front desk in the medical clinics upon check out. Lab and radiology surveys are offered at the hospital at check out.
Take a look at what people are saying on EPHC’s website. Testimonials share the quality human relationships they strive to develop with each and every patient. Remembering what it feels like to be the patient and putting themselves in your shoes is how they do better.
