I believe that children learn through play and "hands-on" experiences. These experiences open pathways for learning all through their lives. I offer many opportunities for children to gain experiences through field trips, experiments, and guest presentations. I like to practice Lillian Katz's Project Approach and follow the developmentally appropriate practice and guidelines of the N.A.E.Y.C. Above all, I try to make education a fun experience. I hold a certificate in Early Childhood Education, an Associate Teacher degree with the state of California, and have several years of preschool classroom experience.

My goals are to make learning an enjoyable experience; to build children's self-esteem while providing many enriching opportunities; and to aid in children's social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development through positive encouragement.
